Privacy
What stays on your device
The launcher stores builds, settings and game sessions locally. Microsoft and Ely.by tokens stay on your device and are never sent to the teth backend. We never receive or store your provider passwords.
What the backend handles
For a teth account: account ID, nickname, linked provider IDs and sessions with the device public key. Abuse protection uses a hashed IP with a rotating salt. Your IP is never shown to other players.
Crash reports
We receive a report only when you choose to send it. Review its contents and remove personal data before sending. Reports are not sent automatically.
Retention
Profiles are kept while the account exists. Launcher sessions last up to 60 days without renewal and at most 365 days overall; browser sessions last up to 14 days without renewal. Exact retention periods for IP hashes, reports and backups are not finalised; we will publish them before accounts open in the public beta.
Deletion and requests
Email [email protected] to request access, correction or deletion of account data. We need proof of account ownership; do not send passwords or tokens. Account deletion revokes its sessions. Backup deletion timelines will be defined before the public beta.
Age and this website
A teth account is for people aged 13 and over. This static website has no analytics scripts, third-party fonts or cookies. The hosting service technically receives the network request address to deliver a page.
